Is thanos really a villain?

So i saw avengers infinity war  last week ans it left me thinking if thanos really a bad guyin the movie. For some people he may be the villain in the movie because he killed our favorite superheroes ,he attacked on planets and destroyed everything to get infinity stones. Now in the movie he may be the villain but as an outside viewer i saw him as a hero actually. Thanos want  to wipe out half the universe and he has seen his vision as good and not evil.

1. overpopulation-Thanos want to destroy half the universe because of overpopulation. citizens are left striving for food due to overpopulation . thanos homeland was destroyed because of overpopulation . He fears the universe is going in the same direction so he want to remove half the existence of life ao the other half could live and universe doesnt dies.

2.He has sacrifice everything-In avengers infinity war,he also sacrifice his own daughter gamora and the only thing he loved was everything because he has lost everything.

3.He has a heart- As you can see ,thanos has a heart actually!when he goes to retrieve the soul stone from red skull , he has to sacrifice what he loves the most . Gamora thinks thanos doesnt anyone besides himself but the only thing he loved was her. As soon as he goes to sacrifice gamora he says ' i am sorry and he was also crying'.

The avengers: infinity war ,which witnesses the coming together of all the marvel superheroes and will bring back all tthe characters that we have seen in the previous 18 marvel movies. In various trailers released by marvel,we have got to know about the universe this film. Avengers are going to face the biggest the biggest villain in the form of thanos.
